THDA 101 Basics (1hr) The THDA 101 Basics class covers the Great Choice Mortgage program and the down payment assistance it provides. In this one-hour class we talk about what THDA is, who the program can help, and how the program works. After completing the class, you will have a basic idea of how to utilize this assistance to make more deals work and help your clients using THDA as a new ‘tool’ in your Realtor toolbox.

Freddie Mac HFA Advantage Conventional Mortgages (2hr) One of the biggest barriers to homeownership is accessing capital for down payments and closing costs. With THDA’s Freddie Mac HFA Advantage conventional mortgage product you now have another resource to help your buyers reach closing day. This two-hour class helps you learn the eligibility criteria, shows you where opportunities in the market exist, and teaches you how to put the pro-grams beneficial lending guidelines to the best use for your clients!

Increasing Minority Homeownership (1hr) This topic reviews minority homeownership data such as average income, DTI, loan channel and homeownership rates across the US and in TN. We discuss the most common barriers to minority homeownership and ways to overcome them. We also introduce you to local resources and tools and explore meaningful partnerships that can help increase minority homeownership in TN. We can’t solve the problem here, but we will continue the conversation!
