Description

The Social Media Journey: What it is and how should we use it helps professionals understand the origins, purposes, and applications of social media. Participants will dive into the intricacies of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn while learning what makes each platform unique as well as learning how to utilize them both personally and professionally.

At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to: [1] Give a generalized history of social media and discover present and future trends [2] Understand the differences between Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn [3] Set up personal and professional accounts, and know the proper way to use them, and finally [4] Create posts with photo and video.

For Class - Bring a device (Smart phone, Laptop, or Tablet). Have a professional email account to associate with your social media, and a professional headshot or photo for use in your profile.
